Probably won't be updating my blog for at least 2 weeks...gonna be overseas in the Middle East on tour with Massari! When i get back i'll update u with the Canadian tour as well as this middle east one!!!

Getting Minx!!

So, for the longest time I would see all these celebrities with these crazy designs on their nails or metallic colours and I would go around to different nail salons and ask them to find those colours or ask them to try the designs on my nails! I finally came to the realization (thanks to Jae) that they were an overlay sticker type thingy called Minx!! :)

There's only a few salons in Canada that have minx and know how to apply them, so how ecstatic were Soda and I when we realized that the salon we love, Heartbreaker, does MINX woohhhooo!! :) So, we booked our appointments for yesterday so that our nails would look wicked for our upcoming tour to the middle east!!

There are soooooo many styles, colours and patterns to choose from! Of course I chose the Zebra print ones haha i'm in love with zebra print things!! And Soda went with an amazing Metallic red style...looks soooo fire!!

Wine & Game Nite!!!

Last nite, a few good friends and I got 2gether to play some games, drink wine, talk and catch up! It was sooooo fun, I miss those days. It was definitely good to just chill and find out what everyone is up to.

A few of us stayed up til 7:30am talking and planning, offering support and just venting! Felt good 2 be relaxed and know u weren't being judged but supported by ur friends. It helped put a lot of things in perspective! Its definitely that time of year when u reflect on how ur year was spent and if u accomplished any of ur goals and what to do next year to get where u want 2 be!!

Can't wait for the next wine nite...which may very well be 2nite hahaha! Let's do it up ladies ;) xo

Another Loss 4 the Raps!!!

So, last nite the Raptors played the 2nd game of a back-to-back against the Atlanta Hawks and boy was it a bad one! They were sluggish and seem defeated right from the start...not a good look! Especially since this is the final contract year for Chris Bosh and he will most likely leave the team if they continue to play this way.

Chris Bosh hasn't yet fallen into the VC syndrome, he continues to play hard every game for every minute he is on the court. He's leading the league in double doubles with 19 in the early season! But, last nites game he was not having it...scoring only 2 points in a little over 20 minutes of play!! He is supposed to be the franchise player for the Raps but isn't really living up to the title, not only should he lead by example but he needs do to keep the team motivated and change things around. Something has to change for the Raps...and it's gotta start with people being more vocal in the locker room and on the bench and taking responsibility for the play on the court! The Raps need someone to push other players into getting things done...there's only so much a coach can do, after all he is not on the court playing!

Last nite, the Raps started off alright at best, but quickly fell off and by half time the Hawks had scored 75 points!! 75 POINTS!!! How the hell do u let that happen?!?! That's madness...not acceptable at all. After half-time, the Raps didn't come out with any more energy or fight and ended up losing the game 146-115. And of course the Raptors had to be the team to allow the Hawks to score a 15 year high 146 point total! They were being 'gang raped' as my girl @Tazzblaze was tweeting! I could barely watch the game....so sad to see a defeated team play with no heart or passion, 2nd game of a back to back or not! U always gotta come out fighting, damn!

In my opinion, if the Raps continue to play this way CB4 will be outta here before mid season!! I'm sure his bags are already packed and the contracts are just waiting to be signed!! STEUPSE!
The silver lining in the loss was Demar DeRozan, who had a career high 21 points in 30 minutes of play. Hopefully, the Raps can turn things around cuz i'd really like to go and watch a game but can't bare to see them lose at home...UGH!!

D-Dub in T.O!!!

A couple weeks ago, my girl Jen9 was in town performing for NKOTB member Donnie Wahlberg, a.k.a D-Dub! So, Soda and I went 2 support her and chill :)

The show was crazy...i didn't know the songs, but ALL the girls there sure did!! They went bucc, singing the songs, screaming, crying, the works!! It was a good show and Jen killed it as usual!! :) Here are a few pics of the nite...
